The process is well-defined and well-controlled. Every blade is tracked from the time of receipt at AvTask until it is returned to the customer. The AvTask system has been built around the “Magic Box”, an innovative, non-intrusive system that provides AvTask with the capability to remove water entrapped in the honeycomb core without drilling holes in the blade; a process which has been the industry-accepted standard. The “Magic Box is supported by other Avion/AvTask developed technologies, including the AvTask Sealing Table, the AvTask Light Imaging System, and the Avion Universal Static Balance Fixture.
